Appropriate Preposition:

  • Feel for ( সহানুভূতি অনুভব করা ) I feel for you in your trouble.
  • Lack of ( অভাব ) I have no lack of friends.
  • Brood on (over) ( মন খারাপ করা ) Do not brood over your misfortune.
  • Interest in ( আগ্রহ ) He has a special interest in history.
  • Accompanied by ( সঙ্গী হওয়া ) He was accompanied by his father.
  • Take after ( সদৃশ হওয়া ) The boy takes after his father.

Idioms:

  • Ins and outs ( খুঁটিনাটি সব কিছু ) I know the ins and outs of the matter.
  • At a loss ( হতবু্দ্ধি ; কিংকর্তব্যবিমূঢ় ) He was at a loss and did not know what to do.
  • a bad apple ( কোনো একটা দলের সব ভালোর মধ্যে খারাপ বা মন্দটা ) In any group of average citizens there are bound to be a few bad apples.
  • At all events ( যাই ঘটুক সব ক্ষেত্রেই ) I shall stand by him at all events.
