Appropriate Preposition:

  • Inferior to ( নিকৃষ্ট ; হীন ) He is inferior to his neighbour.
  • Argue with ( যূক্তি দেখানো (ব্যক্তি) ) I argued with him for the point.
  • Weak in ( কাঁচা ) He is weak in Mathematics.
  • Greed for ( লোভ ) He has no greed for wealth.
  • Heir to ( উত্তরাধিকারী (সম্পত্তি) ) He is the heir to his uncle’s property.
  • Sure of ( নিশ্চিত ) I am sure of success.

Idioms:

  • reinvent the wheel ( এমন কোনকিছু তৈরিতে সময় নষ্ট করা যা বর্তমানে বিদ্যমান ও ঠিকঠাক কাজ করে ) There's no point in us reinventing the wheel
  • In vain ( বৃথা ) All his attempts were in vain.
