Appropriate Preposition:

  • Look over ( পরীক্ষা করা ) He is looking over the answer papers.

  • Affection for ( স্নেহ ) The teacher feels affection for every pupils.
  • Allot to ( বিলি করা ) One room has been allotted to him.
  • Familiar with ( সুপরিচিত ) He is familiar with my brother.
  • Inquire about ( অনুসন্ধান করা (কোন ব্যপার) ) I inquired of him about (into) the matter.

Idioms:

  • throw dust in ones hands full ( কারো চোখে ধূলো দেওয়া )
  • Square meal ( পেট ভরা আহার ) He is too poor to have a square meal every day.
