Appropriate Preposition:

  • Loyal to ( বিশ্বস্ত ) He is loyal to his master.
  • Useful for ( প্রয়োজনীয় (উদ্দেশ্য) ) This book is useful to us for examination.
  • Preside over ( সভাপতিত্ব করা ) He presided over the meeting.
  • Compete with ( প্রতিযোগিতা করা (কোন একজন) ) I competed with him for the first prize.
  • Offended with ( বিরক্ত (ব্যক্তি) ) I am offended with you at your conduct.
  • Accused of ( অভিযুক্ত ) He is accused of corruption.

Idioms:

  • when pigs fly ( কখনও না ) I will help you when pigs fly
  • At one’s wit’s end ( হতবুদ্ধি ) He was at his wit’s end and did not know what to do.
