Appropriate Preposition:

  • Useful for ( প্রয়োজনীয় (উদ্দেশ্য) ) This book is useful to us for examination.
  • Vary from ( আলাদা হওয়া ) His opinion varies from his brother's.
  • Famous for ( বিখ্যাত ) Radhanager is famous for the birth place of Raja Rammohan.
  • Devote to ( উৎসর্গ করা ) He devotes much time to study.
  • Bound for ( যাত্রার জন্য প্রস্তুত ) The ship is bound for England.
  • Accustomed to ( অভ্যস্ত ) I am accustomed to such a life.

Idioms:

  • Sink in ( আবদ্ধ হওয়া, ডুবে যাওয়া ) He sank in mud or the ship sank into the sea.
  • ABC ( প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান ) Everybody must know at least the ABC of religion.
  • To the backbone ( হাড়ে হাড়ে ) The boy is wicked to the backbone.
