Appropriate Preposition:

  • Senior to ( বয়সে বড়, উচ্চপদস্থ ) He is senior to me by four years.
  • Eager about ( আগ্রহী ) He is eager about the result.
  • Lack of ( অভাব ) I have no lack of friends.
  • Dull of ( বোধশক্তিহীন ) He is dull of understanding.
  • Consist of ( গঠিত হওয়া ) This class consists of fifty boys and thirty girls.
  • Sick of ( পীড়িত, ক্লান্ত ) He is sick for home.

Idioms:

  • A blessing in disguise ( বিপরীতে হিত ; প্রথমে খারাপ হিসেবে মনে হলেও পরবর্তীতে ভালো হয় ) Sam's motorcycle accident was a blessing in disguise because he got enough insurance money.
  • Hush money ( ঘুষ ) He offered a hush money to suppress the murder.
