  • Escape by ( রক্ষা করা ) He escaped by a hair breadth.

Idioms:

  • At one’s wit’s end ( হতবুদ্ধি ) He was at his wit’s end and did not know what to do.
  • pulling your leg ( কৌতক করা ) Do not take it seriously, i was just pulling you leg
  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
  • A black sheep ( কুলাঙ্গার ) Tom is a black sheep in their family
  • Lion's share ( সিংহভাগ ) He took the lion's share of the profit.
  • Out of temper ( ক্রুদ্ধ ) He is out of temper now.
