Appropriate Preposition:

  • Capable to ( সক্ষম ) He is capable of doing this alone.
  • Live by ( কোন উপায়ে বেঁচে থাকা ) He lives by honest means.
  • Appetite for ( ক্ষুধা ) The patient has no appetite for food.
  • Exempt from ( রেহাই দেওয়া ) He was exempted from the fine.
  • Rejoice in ( আনন্দ করা ) Every one rejoiced in her success.
  • Admit into ( প্রবেশাধিকার দেওয়া ) He was admitted into the room.

Idioms:

  • All but ( প্রায় ) The poor villagers are all but ruined.
  • Achilles heel ( দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি ) He is trying to hide but everybody knows his achilles' heel
  • Fall flat ( ফলপ্রসূ না হওয়া ) My advice feel fiat on him.
  • Square meal ( পেট ভরা আহার ) He is too poor to have a square meal every day.
