  • Prone to ( ঝোঁক আছে এমন ) He is prone to idleness.
  • Favour with ( অনুগত করা ) Would you favour me with an early reply?

Idioms:

  • Hold water ( ধোপে টেকা ; কার্যকরি হওয়া ) This policy will not hold water in this situation.
  • Big gun ( নেতৃস্থানীয় ব্যক্তি ) He is a big gun of our locality.
  • reinvent the wheel ( এমন কোনকিছু তৈরিতে সময় নষ্ট করা যা বর্তমানে বিদ্যমান ও ঠিকঠাক কাজ করে ) There's no point in us reinventing the wheel
  • Head and ears ( সম্পূর্ণরূপে ) He is over head and ears in debt.
  • Hard and fast ( বাঁধা ধরা ) There is no such hard and fast rule in this matter.
