Appropriate Preposition:

  • Depend on ( নির্ভর করা ) Success depends on hard work.
  • Relevant to ( প্রাসঙ্গিক ) Your remark is not relevant to the point.
  • Bound for ( যাত্রার জন্য প্রস্তুত ) The ship is bound for England.

Idioms:

  • At arm’s length ( দূরে ) Try to keep the bad boy at arm’s length.
  • On the wane ( হ্রাসমান ) His fame is on the wane now.
  • At one’s own sweet will ( খুশি মতো ) He still does it at his own sweet will.
  • Slip of the tongue ( বলায় সামান্য ভুল ) This is a slip of the tongue, don't lay much stress on it.
